Re: Pushing the Panic- CoVid 19

Well, my heard from my wife's niece this morning... She's just about to have a baby any day, hospital already said "only one adult visitor allowed". Yesterday they cancelled school until May 1 in Indiana, so the other two are at home, which isn't what she wanted with a newborn in the house... Even a...

Re: Pushing the Panic- CoVid 19

The other thing is, how much gubmint "kneejerk overreaction" and gubmint overreach are people gonna take? IMHO they're already overreaching and making things worse, how long till TSHTF? Like Betty said, the school sent a letter to remind parents "hey, this is NOT an extra week of spring break, this ...

Re: Pushing the Panic- CoVid 19

The thing I see coming that is DEFINITELY going to be a change is the economic fallout from this mess... While nobody is complaining TOO much about having another week of spring break (so far) other than the toilet paper shortage, the real economic fallout hasn't even started yet. You can't just shu...

Re: My first skill level five rocket

TMTG likes thin fillets; if you put it on too thick it makes voids and holes. You need to do two thin fillets to build up the fillets rather than one thick one...

Re: Pushing the Panic- CoVid 19

Well Betty and Keira has spring break last week, but Betty spent most of it grading when she wasn't trying to catch up on rest. Keira spent most of hers catching up on school stuff as well. I worked in the farm shop on some projects and we went to Shiner last Thursday nite thru Tuesday afternoon to ...

Re: Estes Cosmic Interceptor

Yep learned long ago you should only use white glue or epoxy on motor mounts. Yellow glue is just too "grabby". What happens is, when it's smeared into a super-thin layer, particularly between two layers of absorbent material like paper tubing, the moisture RAPIDLY wicks away into the underlying pap...

Re: Field Day at the Starport

MOAR seems to think this is the funniest thing she has seen from me in a while. I don't know if those things have an actual name, but I'm sure you have seen them or maybe used one. It has a button on one end which you push and it extends a claw on the other end to grab something in a tight place. O...

Re: We Are Going - latest NASA propaganda film

Sounds good but with a Congress in charge of the purse strings that cannot even accept the results of an election three years ago, and that's more interested in leaving our borders unprotected from millions of illegal aliens and intent on buying they're votes with limitless freebies paid for by spen...
