Re: Police Take Action After School Reports BB Gun Seen in Boy's Bedroom During Virtual Class

Well, her first mistake was talking to the cops AT ALL... let alone letting him in to "search for weapons"... Cops will ASK you for anything, but you have to be d@mn fool enough to ALLOW them to do it, well, you CONSENTED so they're covered. Tell 'em to p!ss off til they have a warrant is your best ...

Re: Kevlar String request

Yeah Jo-Anns is a good place... might try HobLob... it's getting harder to find, maybe online. Basically you can use ANY good solid COTTON thread... you don't want polyester or blends or other synthetics that can easily burn if a hot particle of BP from the ejection charge hits them... sort of a mil...

Re: NASA Astronauts Launch from America in Historic Test Flight of SpaceX Crew Dragon

Glad to see our astronauts launching from AMERICAN soil in AMERICAN built spacecraft, instead of being sent packing off to Russia with a $70 million dollar plus check in their pocket for a ride on Soyuz... Remember, NOT ONE DOLLAR has ever been spent *in space*... every dollar spent on the space pro...

Re: Kevlar String request

Hmmm... worth a try but honestly I wouldn't use kevlar for shroud lines... I mean what are you trying to protect them from??? If the parachute is exposed to enough heat to need kevlar shroud lines, the plastic sheeting of the parachute will melt into an undeployable "plastic wad" recovery long befor...

Uggh... "Worm" logo... Gee I was hoping THAT thing was dead and buried... SO FUGLY... (the worm logo, not you Bernie!) BTW nice hat, Dad had one just like it! I was SO pleased when they axed the worm logo and brought back the classic "Meatball" emblem from the '60's... The worm logo just always look...

The Tesla's are a nice touch LOL:) I guess... personally I'd think a Tesla truck would be more appropriate, but I guess they work. Gull wing doors are a nice touch LOL:) Later! OL J R :)

Re: Here we go folks, USA in space, Part Two Coverage of Landmark NASA SpaceX Commercial Crew Test Flight

John Glenn had what, 6 scrubs before he finally flew?? Interesting to see their suit-up and closeout procedures, and how they've changed the tower and crew access arm, etc. REALLY modernized... That seems to be the main theme everyone is commenting on-- the modernity and new way of doing business. T...

Re: Here we go folks, USA in space, Part Two Coverage of Landmark NASA SpaceX Commercial Crew Test Flight

Good presentation between Elon and Jim Bridenstine earlier in the NASA TV coverage I'm watching on roku streaming... Maybe this will shut up some of the naysayers that have been blowing the "only NASA can do this stuff!" horn for the last 10+ years, ever since commercial resupply and then commercial...
