Be safe and post some photos from the wedding.
Ditto that and avoid any discussions about fiberglass vs. paper tubing until after they're on their honeymoon! :~salud:

Re: Wood Conditioning

I have not used boiled linseed oil on balsa, but have used it on other woods such as found on gun stocks, tools and cabinetry. As it is highly viscous it tends to form a gummy surface and is often best "cut" with turpentine or mineral spirits. If you use it, ALWAYS wipe off the excess soon after app...

Re: Indestructible Rocketry parts, Good or bad?

So I stand corrected on the materials of the fatal rocket. And upon further reflection, lightening mass at some point will have a less forceful effect on impact. Once optimal mass is achieved, lowering the weight will give the effect (safer?) most people think of. Of course getting a rocket down to...

Re: Indestructible Rocketry parts, Good or bad?

link to old Cantina topicabout fatality link to TRF topic I read both of the links that you posted and, ironically, the TRF link was a thread I originated. I read all 110 posts in that thread and direct your attention to post number 94 by "stealth6" which contains a letter from the NAR by Ted Cochr...

Re: Indestructible Rocketry parts, Good or bad?

I recall an incident where a boy scout was impaled by an Estes X15 model rocket that was launched on a windy day, weather cocked and went "cruise missile mode", striking the child in the armpit and stopping just short of his heart. I believe this was a troop from north Texas and happened in Oklahoma...

Aw, come now. You know you love reading positive reviews about yourself and would be devastated if I didn't give you a heads up. Besides, they really don't need me to stir their shid. They're just being themselves.

Re: Tunnel Vision?

I don't know much about economics, jobs or globalism. But I've been gaining insights on various medical issues. For example, I was experiencing some discomfort in my exhaust system and rather than traveling 60 miles to see my UROLOGIST (UROL), I went to see my local nurse practitioner (NP). After ex...
