Like I said- talk is cheap, and I'll believe it when I see it...
As Mr. Scott once said, (translated for modern times) "Reading press releases is easy, rocket science, that's hard..."

Re: Mars Snooper
JB Weld is heavy and stout. Being an epoxy product, it SHOULD be "shape-able" using the same techniques used for epoxies, IE gloved finger dipped in alcohol, acetone, etc. That way excess can be wiped off and it can be brought as close as possible to the "final dried size/shape" ...

Re: Was Hillary legitimate?
The fact that Hillary Clinton was even a CANDIDATE after the *oops you said word #1 she's pulled over the years speaks to just how broken the US political system is IMHO... The fact that her "supporters" can't get over the fact they lost also speaks volumes about just how misguided and del...

Re: ‘Moon Express’ Secures Funding in Race to Mine the Moon
Meh... more "pie in the sky" from people we've never heard about... $30 million is a JOKE when it comes to doing lunar *ANYTHING* (well, with the exception of telescope work or maybe analyzing old Apollo lunar samples or something), and what are you going to prove with a "washing mach...

Re: State Department Held Stress Workshops After Trump’s Win
You can bet it was a shit-ton, to be sure, on both counts... Wow this country is SO full of pussies nowdays... and THESE are the people in charge of facing down real tough guys like the Russians, Chinese, North Koreans, and Iranians (among many others)?? No wonder we're considered such a joke elsewh...

Re: SpaceX Iridium satellite launch from Vandenberg, 14Jan2017
Well, we'll see... If you've never read Greg Klerkx book "Lost in Space" http://www.gregklerkx.com/lost-in-space/ you really should get it from the local library system and give it a read. It's the really interesting history of how NASA did everything possible during the late 80's and 90's...

Re: SpaceX Iridium satellite launch from Vandenberg, 14Jan2017
The Russians have had some neat ideas of their own, but won't invest the money to realize any of them. Basically just like NASA. I think that other countries could develop their own versions of Falcon 9, especially the Japanese and the Russians. There's no reason to think that the Chinese and Indian...

Re: SpaceX Iridium satellite launch from Vandenberg, 14Jan2017
Sure, no prob... since it wasn't exactly "model rocket related" is why I looked for the "best fit" for the post, and since it was basically a link to a webcast, is why I figured I'd post it in "books, web, other media" area... Wherever you want it is fine with me... I n...

Re: binge watching Star Trek: Enterprise
I'm about midway through season 4 myself. I vaguely remember watching a few episodes when it first aired and wanting to watch more, but the early 2000's were not a stable time in my life. Suffice it to say making plans to watch a new trek series on a weekly basis was not going to happen. I find it ...

Re: binge watching Star Trek: Enterprise
Yeah, I do too. I WOULD probably watch this new Trek series, but I'm simply NOT going to pay for "CBS streaming" for ONE single show... and I have ZERO interest in ANYTHING that CBS has had on the air in the last 20 years, AFAIK... I figure sooner or later it'll work it's way out onto &quo...
