Re: OK, who let GHrocketman out?
"Midnight Special" B14's (as well as B8's) actually are EASILY self made although I would not condone/suggest/reccommend this practice as it is against the mamby-pamby code. One could very slightly (maybe 1/8" deep) core B4-2/4/6 motors with a 3/32" non-sparking drill to create B...

Re: Opinion time
The ONLY C5's that cato regularly are from ONE date-code lot in ALL of the Estes production of that motor. I have had VERY few Estes catos overall. I even flew D-kaboom-13's without incident as well as E15's without incident from Estes first foray into E motors. The only catos that really stand out ...

Re: Prank threads allowed here ?
OOPS ! Forgot the Jenkem although that isn't really a PRANK per se.... While Jenkem truly IS the noxious liquid/gases from sun fermented human fecal matter, it was/is an urban myth that idiot law enfArcement agencies actually bought into foolishly and warned several school districts/communities abou...

Re: OK, who let GHrocketman out?
Ghrocketman had NOTHING to do with this. I saw it on the local and National news at the same time all the rest of you did as well. When I first heard about this I thought "Must be an inside job". I honestly had NEVER heard of a modern-day train burglary/pilfery. Hopefully the perpetrators ...

Re: GHrocket who?
Yes, I do stop by here from time to time. I have never blocked anyone on any forum in the past that I can recall, but have seriously considered blocking and G. Gas, Fred Schechter and RoyATL for the reasons given above. I honestly find Fred and Roy much more irritating than G.Gas, but not to the poi...

Re: the fickle nature of E's and F's
Unlike many others, I NEVER have had an Estes E9 cato, and I have flown lots of those low-thrust barely E's. NOBODY around me including the huge Hobby Lobby as well as 3 mom-n-pop hobby stores carries Estes E12's and I've been to all of them in the last 3 weeks. Wish the local Hobby Lobby (that does...

Re: FSI E60-6
The FSI E60 is the only engine I ever had the displeasure of using that had a cato rate above 50% !!! I would estimate the cato rate to be close to 75%....I used up my remaining supply as 'large firecrackers' that I ENSURED would cato via liberal use of an "engineer's Hammer" on the sides....
