Thanks guys! Our family seems to know how to make girls. We have two daughters, our oldest has two daughters, and youngest daughter just had a daughter.
Our older grand daughters have flown rockets twice. I'm hoping to take them launching this year now that our fire bans have been lifted.

Re: Getting harder and harder to justify the president
I'm still firmly in his camp since I like what he's done so far. Like almost everyone, I wish he'd cool it with Twitter. I'm pissed with Congress. They have total control of the agenda, and they are dragging their heels, at best. I don't recall if I have it right, but Representatives get 120 days of...

Re: Easter Greetings
We had an awesome Easter. Our youngest daughter gave birth early to daughter Charley on Thursday night, about 3-4 weeks early. We were house sitting for them and able to visit the baby the next day. Mom and baby doing fine, came home yesterday. We headed home, then drove back to Denver this morning....

Re: One of these days...
I just started reading this tonight, and noticed the Mars Snooper. I just the BMS clone kit yesterday. I do not remember how long it has been since I assembled paper shrouds. Gag! The first was not cut as well as the second and third, but it will look fine. I'll have to go back and check out the pos...

Re: Vindication?
I like the rocket groups on a Facebook -- the NAR group, Model Rocketry Fanatics group, and a group that rarely gets posts these days -- Centuri Rockets. Lots of posts, but like Facebook, it's for the moment. Really hard to find anything if it's been awhile. I think they complement the forums pretty...

Re: Rumor about Estes not producing cluster kits anymore- Is it true?
Luke, I haven't flown HPR since maybe 2000. I found that my real passion was model rockets. I wanted to build all those kits I never built as a kid -- Saturns, Mars Landers, etc. and I like up scaling them, but if I never flew anything larger than a G, I could live with that. I have fond memories of...

Re: Rumor about Estes not producing cluster kits anymore- Is it true?
I occasionally browse TRF to see if there is anything exciting. Occasionally I find something I follow, like a really detailed build thread on the Estes Little Joe II. Mostly I see "anyone got a good kit recommendation for my Level 2?" I usually ignore, but occasionally I reply. "For ...

Re: Apogee Components Customer Service
Tim/Apogee's comments about higher prices is irritating. I'd bet he isn't so cavalier about prices when it's his dough he is forking over for something he is buying. I'd kind of hope things like that would not be boasted about. I will give him credit for producing two beautiful kits, the Saturn 1B a...

Re: State Department Held Stress Workshops After Trump’s Win
My wife retired two years ago from National Park Service. She liked her job, just detested the people she worked for. You'd think NPS would draw the finest talent -- those loving the outdoors and wanting to help preserve our great national treasures. Many probably started that way, but so many are n...

Re: Trump have your head spinning yet?
The press, and the Dems, are going crazy. By the time they start to try to build resistance to one of his moves, he has moved on to the next one.
