Re: Our Club Makes Rocket commercial for Jack's Resturant
Jack's Hamburgers has been a local chain, mostly in Alabama, since about 1960. I've loved them all my life. They do mostly burgers and chicken and they do them very well. Much better than any other national chain you could name. No matter which of about 100 outlets you go to they're 100% consistent,...

Our Club Makes Rocket commercial for Jack's Resturant

It features a “Der Red Max” rocket built by members of our local rocketry club, Ron Dunn and Craig Brooks. Randy was ther...

Re: Vindication?
As for social media, I don't Facebook, Randy does. Mostly he uses it to keep up with the kids and grand kids and old school friends and he has a separate, Rocket Babe Facebook page, for the book series. If there is something he knows will interest me he'll call me over to see, or to do a brief reply...

Re: Vindication?
More than a year ago I noticed TRF was about half of what it once was, meaning many days not much more than 2 pages of posts when it used to be more than 5 daily and YORF is now usually about half a page of posts. I get much more from being here or YORF so that's what I do. I never even considered a...

Re: Apogee Components Customer Service
Just like people, all company's have their good days and bad days. As a business person I understand the model, as a consumer I appreciate good courteous service. I have only placed a couple of orders to Apogee over the years and my experience has been that the price and service were beyond excellen...

Re: Rumor about Estes not producing cluster kits anymore- Is it true?
I know Rocket will sound off about this, but I have little experience with clusters having only in the past couple of years building and flying a Estes Ranger clone. Speaking for myself, there are lots of reasons I like clusters more than single engine, to me it makes it more fun and slightly more ...
