Re: The Cantina ahead of its time?
More and more, new venues for free speech have cropped as a response to the oppression of free speech on the internet. http://www.Rumble.com to compete with YouTube, http://www.Mewe.com to oppose Facebook, http://www.Parler.com to speak when twitter won't let you; and others. To these and the other...

I can only hope that the current administration has as much of a positive attitude for our space program as the previous administration. I don't what part Vice-President Biden played in NASA during the Obama tenure, but let us hope he wasn't the one who wished to pursue such an anti-space sentiment...

Re: Duck and Cover (with a mask)
Okay this is a pet peeve of mine, so here goes. Duck and cover had a purpose, and it was good then and it's STILL good TODAY. It is equally effective for both nuclear and NON-nuclear large explosions, as well as most natural disasters like earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes or other destructive wi...

I think *decent* people are FINALLY starting to have enough... I've seen a lot of "pushback" against Coke and people deciding to vote with their dollars and BOYCOTT them and other businesses that foolishly decide to push their own agenda rather than try to sell their product to the broades...

Re: Vice President Harris Swears in NASA Administrator Sen. Bill Nelson
Great... more "Shuttle Mafia" crew still in charge... joy. I read a story the other day about Blue Origin siccing the Senator they bought on NASA for the SpaceX "lunar lander" contract. Blue Origin had the shittiest design in the entire competition-- even Dynetics lander could &q...

If I could find the insurance from a different source, I might give it up. Nice thing flying on my own farm-- don't need the stinking insurance. From what I've read it's d@mn near useless anyway. Basically EVERYTHING OTHER KIND OF INSURANCE available has to pay FIRST before they're obligated to pay...

FAA putting the brakes on SpaceX...
As usual, our Fed gubmint is doing what they do best-- standing in the way of people actually trying to get something accomplished. Supposedly SpaceX's SN-8 launch which was highly successful except for the rocket not quite getting back down onto the ground in one piece (after a pressurization failu...

This was the text of a post I did on Hay Talk forum, for a farm audience. Hence a little more descriptive of terms and things for a non-rocketry related audience than I would have for a rocketry-familiar audience.
