They are completely irrational on the subject.

Re: the fickle nature of E's and F's

I have had CATO's only on the E60's. I have a couple of scratch builts that can use the D18/D20's and I launch them occasionally.

Re: the fickle nature of E's and F's

I bought both E12's and F15's at Hobby Lobby in Joliet, Il and Toledo OH. There was a hobby store in Cleburne TX back in the early 80's that carried a full line of Estes and FSI. I was their main customer for the FSI stuff. They never had FSI A-C engines, but did carry the D-F lines. In 1985, they d...

Re: Is it hype? or a possible real answer?

The Juno probe to Jupiter is using HUGE solar panels for power due to the shortage of PU240 for RTG's. The greenies back here have been on NASA's case for decades about nuke power units, but solar PV is just not practical for anything past Jupiter. If you look at the orbit Juno is taking around Jupi...

Lee, I blame our "education" system. The willfull ignorance of the kids today is appalling, as is their refusal to think.

Re: E9-4 CATO

I've used several E12's with no problems. However, I do still have several old FSI E60's that I will fire off for the scouts when we do a troop launch. Being natural pyromaniacs, they love the E60 catos....

I seriously doubt Mrs Leavitt was the brains behind Dr. Hubble. Another example of the lefties trying to change history to bolster their weak narrative.

Re: E9-4 CATO

What was funny was that I had launched that Mean machine with the other two engines from the pack with no problem.

E9-4 CATO

Happened last year during the Scout launch in a Mean Machine. This was the remains of the rocket. I could not find the engine case, but Estes made good anyway. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1579/25869181813_dd3afedcaf_b.jpg . by j.jwooten@sbcglobal.net , on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/159...
