Re: All Forums Sliding

Well, Rocketry Center did have a new member-- I just checked there before I came here (simply because of the way my bookmarks are aligned, not a preference thing) but they just posted a bunch of links to sex stuff... Re: Voter Registration?

Voting is a joke, like this country. It's become a banana republic and nobody is smart enough to realize it. Maybe we can send Jimmy Carter to monitor the election and make sure everything is "fair"... LOL:) Oh well... back to real life. No time for this stupidity. Later! OL J R :)

Re: Scratch one rocket forum...

It's back. But, like you said, nobody's posted there in a coon's age. I have YORF, RC, Rocketry Spot, and Sagitta Cantina bookmarked right ahead of the Paper Modeler's Page and the local "Old Rocketeers 724" yahoo groups page, and I check each one in order before going over to HayTalk foru...

Scratch one rocket forum...

Well, I haven't been able to get onto "The Rocketry Spot" for a few days-- thought it was maybe a problem from my end, but looks like even Google can't find it... "no server" error. Guess you can scratch one rocket forum. Shame to see... I think that the idea behind "the roc...

Re: Remember the Andromeda Strain?

Well, the interior or nooks and crannies of meteorites that have arrived from Mars might be sufficiently shielded to protect any bacteria in spore form from being destroyed, if there's any bacteria on Mars to make the trip in the first place.

Re: Remember the Andromeda Strain?

So long as they don't use Dan Goldin's infamous, "Better, faster, cheaper" (pick 2) methodology to design the mission and end up putting in the parachute deployment g-switches in upside down, I think it'll be alright. Tons of asteroid and cometary material land on Earth every single day an...

Re: The media wants to get in on the act too.

Exactly-- why I don't even watch the lamestream media anymore. Bunch of worthless talking heads in empty suits, yellow dog journalism at its finest, vomiting back exactly what their rich owners and masters want the unwashed masses to believe. Most people are stupid enough to fall for it. I'm not. Ya...
