#11 Build Thread from 2058, near the century anniversary of Model Rocketry.

After a recent power surge on the Starport, we found this interesting model rocket build thread in our files. Some of it was indecipherable by us as apparently in this time period (sometime around the middle of the century) they don't just use initialisms and acronyms, they have created symbols for many words and concepts. Yes, that is right, in our near future symbolism has come to take over our writing also. I have posted the picture of one such symbol below which we have a 95% certainty translates to "Equal Outcome Amendment".

After much study, effort, and decryption efforts, we have been able to translate many of these symbols and posts and hereby re-post them here for your perusal. Words or phrases in italics are our best guess at the translation of a symbol.

You must use a lot of hand lotion in the future. Your skin looks very good for some old, decrepit rocket-building geezer.

Oh, wait! Perhaps the Fountain of Youth gets discovered! In that case, I may just be able to build all those kits I have in storage. :)

Of all the things you could pick on, you choose hands?? :?: :?

How about the fact that the builds visible in the rear are still at the same stage of completion as nearly 40 years earlier. Or that the X-wing fighter still isn't painted?

The hands ... well, the TV channel my wife watches all the time, it has these commercials talking about "crepey" skin. Not "creepy" skin, crepey, like crepe paper. Ironic, since I think of streamers when I see crepe paper, but I digress ...

Now, your unfinished rockets ... that kind of goes without saying! :D

I'll give you credit for at least dusting them off ...
