#11 A couple of scratch builds

Post by Joe Wooten » Sun, 11 Dec 16, 23:10 pm

A few weeks ago, I got the bug to use up some of mu huge supply of spare parts, so I decided to build a cople of multi stage rockets. The two stage is a 24mm to 18 mm using BT50, and the 3 stager is a 13mm using a BT20. Now that the wifey has the Christmas decorating bug, I have to shut down my basement workshop and clear the decks of Christmas decorating.....

Everything above ground level is hers now (or son no. 2). I was perturbed by being awoken by the sound of hammering this morning as she was putting more nails in the wall for more Christmas decorations.

Nice builds, The two stager resembles the Avenger without the reduced section of the sustainer.

LOL!!! I feel your pain. I do believe that if it were not for the female of the species, Christmas would just be another cold, winter day. It's almost as annoying as April 15th.

Yes, those are some nice scratch built rockets that Joe is building. If I can ever get all my junk fixed and in working order I am anxious to build some scratchers myself.

Oh, and Merry Christmas!

I saw the Avenger build threads. I started thinking about doing one too. I have all the parts.....
