We've only had 1 cato in over 3,000 flights and it was a B6-4 back in about 1996. A-C are pretty rare.

Had to bump to a new topic. Each engine type is supposed to have their own thread to help track any issues with that particular brand and or type. If you could give some more information it would be helpful to the project.

The minimum information we would like to see is manufacturer and type. Beyond that would be the date of incident; batch code, any available weather information and/or extent of damage. :photos: would be great also.

A B6-4 would be a rare event indeed, especially considering the amount manufactured. However, as consumers we can never be sure with the information not being made readily available by the NAR, hence the purpose of this particular forum.

Thanks for the input.

I might also add the model was a Centuri Columbia Shuttle and the only damage was that the motor mount glue joint was broken all the way around but it was easily fixed and has flown again many times.
