The Republican National Convention in town this week is a completely different matter. Already the whole drafting department has been sent home with their computers to work at home during the week of the convention. This was of course a nuisance since the computers needed to be altered to work as stand alone units, no longer on the company's intranet. Friday we dissembled our computers, placed them on a dolly and wheeled them about two blocks away to the parking garage. We had to navigate around ten foot fences erected in the middle of the street blocking some intersections and making it so we couldn't just stop in front of the entrance of the building and load stuff.
All of this I am willing to bear, for the "betterment of the community". However, I was just thinking of spending some time going out to launch, when I decided to check on something.....
Yes, you guessed it,
