That day that all grunts hate has come to the Starport---------> FIELD DAY!!!

Yes, looking around at the Cantina and other areas of the Starport, I saw how clluttered and full of, well stuff, it had become. Time to take the bull by the horns and do some spring cleaning.

Not as empty as I had hoped for, but I ran out of room to put stuff in the rest of the basement. I have come to two conclusions:

1) I have a lot more crap than I can imagine.

2) This was a lot easier with a platoon of Marines, Hey Joe, mind sending your sons my way?

The son the squid, was telling me that they did field days in BUDS training also, and that everything would shine. 200 SEALs in training running around shining up the squad bays. To which I must respond, oh yeah? I'm just one old Marine boot camp medical drop out doing the whole job myself.

Sorry, back to work, scrubbing walls and mopping floors. :(

MOAR seems to think this is the funniest thing she has seen from me in a while. I don't know if those things have an actual name, but I'm sure you have seen them or maybe used one. It has a button on one end which you push and it extends a claw on the other end to grab something in a tight place. Of course, I might add that she shouldn't drop toothpaste caps down the drain if she doesn't want to see me wrrite something silly.

So, it's Tuesday now and no, I'm not finished.

The way I reckon it, if it takes 200 sailors to do a field day, a grumpy old man should get 200 days

Yeah they sell them at the Auto Supply... Oreilleys should have them. Called a "magic fingers" IIRC... or a grabber. Mechanics make up their own names for stuff.

Later! OL J R :)
