One of these days...

The mount on the deck is screwed in from the underneath, and can be unscrewed and moved to a different section of the deck easily.

I just started reading this tonight, and noticed the Mars Snooper. I just the BMS clone kit yesterday. I do not remember how long it has been since I assembled paper shrouds. Gag!
The first was not cut as well as the second and third, but it will look fine.
I'll have to go back and check out the posts on your Snooper. I've got so many other irons in the fire, rocketry-wise, that I'm not sure when assembly will be complete.

I have been working on that Mars Snooper for what seems like forever! It has to be going on three years now. I know I have posted about it somewhere, but can't remember where. Wherever it was, I mentioned that I used my new lathe to make mandrels to help form the cones. I too had problems getting them shaped right and just decided to make the mandrels for practice on the lathe. I still have them sitting in the rocket bunker.
