Thanks to the coronavirus crisis, Courtney Lancaster got a lesson in government overreach no parent wants to learn.

But it’s one every American needs to take to heart.

The Baltimore County woman, whose son took part in online classrooms because of a coronavirus school shutdown, recently found herself facing a police officer at her door requesting to search her home because her son’s BB gun had been spotted in the background during a classroom session he joined in his bedroom.
“The police officer was, he was very nice. He explained to me that he was coming to address an issue with my son’s school,” Lancaster said.

“And then explained to me that he was here to search for weapons, in my home. And I consented to let him in. And then I, unfortunately, stood there and watched police officers enter my 11-year-old son’s bedroom.”

The search took only 20 minutes, according to the station. But the effects are still lingering.
She said she was told she was not allowed to see the screenshot — an image of her 11-year-old son’s bedroom, remember — because it was not part of his student record.

“It’s absolutely scary to think about,” Lancaster told the station. “Who are on these calls? Who do we have viewing your children and subsequently taking these screenshots that can be sent anywhere or used for any purpose?”

Questioned by WBFF, the school district responded with a statement that was even worse than “no comment.”

“Our longstanding policy is to not debate individual circumstances through the media,” the statement said, according to WBFF. “There are multiple ways for families to share concerns with us. In general terms, the safety of students and staff is our chief concern, whether we are meeting in classrooms or via continuity of learning.”

This is a disconcerting thought about the nanny state. You may have thought you were under less threat with the school online experience, but this just goes to show how the 1984 gang will use any and all means to spy on you and privacy can just be an illusion.

Well, her first mistake was talking to the cops AT ALL... let alone letting him in to "search for weapons"... Cops will ASK you for anything, but you have to be d@mn fool enough to ALLOW them to do it, well, you CONSENTED so they're covered. Tell 'em to p!ss off til they have a warrant is your best bet, and have the media and lawyer on hand when and if they come back.

My question was, "WTF does what my kid have in HIS room, beyond something PATENTLY AND TOTALLY ILLEGAL, have ANYTHING to do with the friggin' school?? He didn't take the BB gun TO SCHOOL, he didn't have bombmaking materials or illegal drugs or threaten anyone online, so what he has in HIS ROOM in HIS HOME is NONE of ya friggin' business..."

I swear, not like these friggin' cops don't have anything else to do... how about going and stopping some d@mn rioters from burning the country down instead of harassing families because their kid has a BB gun??

Bout like me... I'm getting ready for a lawyer's appointment with my brother and sister to deal with my dead mother's estate and the total mongolian clusterfudge she and dad made of all their business that has now landed in our laps to try to friggin' deal with, and I got some A-hole call me up... turns out it was the friggin "cow cop" deputy on the sheriff dept payroll down in Fort Bend county, calling me about some d@mned old cancer-eye cow I got wandering around out in the pasture... Now for those not aware, it is what it sounds like... some cows will end up getting cancer on their eyelid, and it spreads and it's incurable and they inevitably die from it. Well, this old cow got one earlier this year, but she was still doing all right and some time they're pregnant and will have a calf, and if they can suckle it for a few months before they die, you at least get another calf out of the deal, so I wasn't gonna plug her with the rifle the minute I saw she went cancer eye... and then all this covid sh!t started and mom fell and was in the hospital and we're running 9 ways to Sunday trying to help her and pick up the slack for my brother and sister and their families who were more exposed and couldn't be there to help mom for risk of infecting her with covid, so I had just a little bit more important stuff to deal with than one d@mned old cow that was gonna keel over for buzzard bait anyway.

This stupid cop calling me "well, someone saw her by the road and called us" and I was like, "Well, why don't you tell them to mind their own fvcking business?? D@mn city slickers all move out here and then whatever's going on on your place they think is somehow any of THEIR d@mn business... you know as well as I do that it's incurable, so I'm not spending $300 bucks on a vet for a cow that's gonna end up heels up for buzzard bait anyway. I've had all this other sh!t to deal with and one old cow has been pretty d@mn far down the list, frankly. Besides, if *I* had cancer, I wouldn't want some sumb!tch to just run out and plug me in the @ss soon as it became apparent... she's been doing okay til the past week or so I think... it's just recently that she's gone down, and yeah I was thinking it's probably time to plug her, but frankly I haven't had time and now you call me with this sh!t when I'm 100 miles from home trying to tend to my dead mother's business... all because some citified @sshole thinks that every time a cow is poor or down you should call a friggin vet or lifeflight or some d@mn stupid thing like that..." Well, I probably blew up at him more than I should, he got a little defensive but kept his cool and said, "Well, I understand, but I'm here for the animals... you probably need to do something about it as soon as you can, just plug her and call it good, or if you don't want to, call a vet..." "Fine", I said, "we'll plug her as soon as we get back home, if she's not heels up by then. I just don't see why yall don't tell some of these busybodies to p!ss off and mind their own GD business... they got no clue about nothing but they call yall with this sh!t and waste BOTH our time... sorry if I'm landing on you right now, kinda stressed got enough sh!t to deal with without this, and I know you're just doing your job and I appreciate it (he'll usually let you know if you got a cow out or sometimes even run it back in-- he toodles around the countryside in a brand new F-250 we pay for with our tax dollars pulling a decent sized pretty new stock trailer, usually with a roping horse in it in case he has to run some cows down...) I just get SO sick and fvcking tired of these d@mn know-nothing idiots telling everybody else who actually DOES know and who does it for a living how they SHOULD be doing it and sticking their d@mn nose into everything like they have a right to... like that fvcking little twat "Greta" and her global warming bullsh!t... half the world would starve and most of the rest would be eating each other if these nitwits get their way... they have NO FRIGGIN CLUE... just Hollyweird libtard limpwristed touchy-feely CRAP that has NO relation to reality and what it really takes to make a way in this world...

Sick to fvcking death of it!!! Later! OL J R : )

In a way, I have been wondering if this whole covid thing isn't natures way of thinning the herd. I mean if you think about it, as a society we have been pushing back the mortality rate to such a point that it must be a stain on natures way and she has retaliated with the help of the Chinese.
