#1 Fascists are conservative? News to me.

We could get into the history of the KKK, and wonder about the big switch that supposedly happened in the fifties to bring them I
onto the conservative side, but Dinesh Disousa covered that in Hillary's America. Personally, I think there was a conspiracy that the clan would pay lip service to the GOP while still voting Democratic.

Anyways, fascists believe the government should be in charge of just about everything, especially in the business world, akin to President Obama thinking the government should be in charge of healthcare. On the other hand, a conservative believes the government should keep its money grubbing hands out of...

just about everything.

How a person could not see the obvious difference is just a testimony to the brainwashing power of the media and out colleges.

It would appear that I must have an ability to see through the facades of these people.

Breitbart.com is reporting that Charlottesville Racist Leader Was Former Occupy Activist, Obama Supporter

Just another thought I had about such things, Could it be possible that the reason we have RINOS (Republican In Name Only) is that the very nature of a conservative is he wants to have as little to do with the government as possible? Therefore not many real conservatives would bother running for office. It takes an individual as a last resort belief that he has to do something or the whole thing will come crashing down, akin to Venezuela.

The idea that the Fascists and Nazis are right wing is a successful construct of the USSR and the socialist movement after WW2. Mussolini always proclaimed he was a socialist, even as he was executed by the communists in 1945, and Hitler stated he admired Marxist principles. Both men set up socialist economies, just not the bureaucratic socialism of the USSR. The government allowed private ownership of business, but they kept control deciding who produced what and how much. There was a very good article on this very subject today on Instapundit.

Dinesh D'Sousa was talking about it in an interview by Stefan Molyneux I watched today. Dinesh has a new book out called "The Big Lie", which goes into this topic. I think I need to order it. In the interview he was discussing how a member of the Frankurt School, came over and being a socialist in an era were socialism wasn't exactly looked kindly upon, created a test with questions having hardly, if anything, to do with fascism, to determine if you were a fascist.

As mentioned in my first post above, the only question that really determines if you are one of the varieties of socialist (they keep having to change their definitions and/or ideals frequently to cover up their failures)is: How much control do you think the government should have over it's citizens.

If you just ask how much control the government should have over you, a typical socialist will honestly answer, "very little. However it should have a lot of control over..."
