Sometimes you just can't win... and sometimes you get pay back

So Mother Of All Rockets and I get back from doing the grocery shopping and I head down to the Cantina and mix myself up a Pim Ono drink. M.O.A.R. comes and I say have a sip. She takes the drink and downs it in less than five minutes.

Well, I never.

But the universe has it's equilibrium. Even as I was writing this post, she returned to the Cantina and complained about stomach ache and feeling like she was going to . I informed her she shouldn't have guzzled the drink, that it contained 4 shots , that on an empty stomach she had taken a great risk drinking it that fast and gave her a glass of club soda to drink.

That's a lot on an empty stomach in a short time and there are usually 2 predictable outcomes. One is the result she experienced. I hope she's ok now, those effects can linger for a couple of days.

The other reaction some can have, is to use a chair like a step to a nearby table top in 4 inch heels and begin dancing and singing.

Never try to out drink Pim ...or her Captain.

As a respectable and conscientious barkeep, I would never try to force a libation upon anyone, even a comely lass in a tight space suit . However I would not expect a patron to guzzle a drink crafted for imbibing over a period of time to enjoy the nuances and flavors . Yes there are times to slam a Three Wise Men, but when you are savoring the subtleties of a sassy submission, time can be your friend.

As to the pilfering of my drink, no I wouldn't have minded that in the least, and along those lines, I don't think we need to be letting Pim know I have been working on some Coffee drinks.

She would probably be... amused. And she can hold her own with anyone. Recently she was on assignment with Kontana near Rigel and ran into some star ship guy named Scotty who challenged her to a drinking contest. In less than 30 minutes she put him under the table.
