Does anyone have or know how you can bring model rocket engines with you on a commercial airline flight?

Sorry, you will either need to mail them or buy them where you are going. You can't carry them on or in checked luggage on a commercial airline. No exceptions. People will say I used to do that, well maybe before 9-11 but not now, not recently. Just handling an unopened pack of engines will leave enough trace on your hands to cause an alarm and more headaches than you ever want to deal with. They won't need the dogs.

How do I know? I'll be the one calling for the Leo's to come take you aside.

Just one more reason to find alternative methods of travel anymore. The only thing that will completely keep people safe while traveling is if they start not allowing brains on Airplanes and Trains. :o Sadly, In some cases I think that has already occurred.

So, you're moonlighting from the DSSF for TSA? Hmmmm. I went through ATl on the way south. Next time I'll have to see if I can go through BHM.

Of course, me flying out of there would cause consternation, I wouldn't know whether to salute or pour you a drink. ;)

Notice I behaved myself there. ;) ;)

I remember the "good old days" when I walked through security with a plastic bag that had 13 packs of motors and two unopened kits I had bought while killing time before the fight at a hobby store going out of business. That was in 1983.........

WAIT! HOLD UP! Stop even!!! You mean all I have to do to get frisked by a rocket babe is to fly through Birmingham? :o :o :o
And yes, it is allowed by TSA rules that opposite sex searches can be conducted. ;)

Trust me, it was a chore to find an image with her appropriately dressed.
