Risking nuclear war... over UKRAINE??

So Biden and his group of happy idiots have approved the use of US long-range battlefield missiles to hit INSIDE RUSSIA from Ukraine, at least in the Kharkov region where the Russians are simply and inexorably slow-rolling back all opposition in their way as the Ukrainian forces are running out of men on the battlefield and running out of men to bushwhack and forcibly conscript into the military. They have press gangs roaming the streets looking for ANY males they can bushwhack and press into the military, even crippled, handicapped, mentally challenged, and old men/retirees in their 60's. The average age of the Ukrainian troops now is 43, meaning HALF their army is actually OLDER than that! Captured Ukrainians tell of being in stores in Kiev last week, being bushwhacked, given a rifle and clothing and a day or two's training, and thrown into the front lines and captured by the Russians (if they're lucky and don't get killed) within a week.

There is NO path forward to victory for Ukraine in this war. Hitler tried tossing in massive numbers of untrained old men and boys against the oncoming Russian onslaught in the closing days of WW2, with the "Volkssturm" (people's army) consisting of whatever men and boys remained at home capable of carrying a weapon, mostly a few rusty rifles and Panzerfaust (antitank bazookas). Hitler, in his bunker, conjured armies from mostly thin air, or "reconstituted" armies from the handful of exhausted veterans straggling back into Berlin from the long deadly retreat of being forced back from Eastern Europe by the oncoming tide of the Red Army, along with whatever handful of worn out and mostly broken-down or nearly so equipment that they could manage to drag back with them, if they could find the fuel to do it... combining these handfuls of surviving experienced troops with a few basically untrained old men and boys, and equipping them with mostly imagined and insufficient numbers of new weapons, he hurled them against the well trained, well equipped, and now experienced and battle hardened masses of the Red Army, where they were simply cut to pieces in enormous numbers while barely slowing the Red Army's advance into the heart of the Reich.

In a like same manner, the Russians are slowly and inexorably moving forward, taking village by village across a broad front in Ukraine, killing tens of thousands of Ukrainian conscripts every month. They killed around 1400 just last week, and the count for just this year in Ukrainian casualties is about 2/3 of what we lost in nearly 10 years of war in Vietnam. While the West consistently denigrates the Russian Army as incompetent and weak because of its slow advance against a peer enemy, compared to the US "shock and awe" campaigns of overwhelming firepower attacks and lightning advances across the country of mostly ill-equipped troops of third-world nations like Iraq and Afghanistan, acting like we were achieving some great victory over poorly trained and largely unmotivated troops fighting with poorly maintained 30 year old ex-Soviet weaponry, and where, incidentally, we ultimately LOST and were forced out by sandal-wearing farmers and goat herders carrying rusty AK-47's, because, like their Vietnamese predecessors, they REFUSED to be beaten by a bunch of invading Yankees and kept on fighting til we got tired of it and moved on to "the next war". Meanwhile the Russians are fighting the equivalent of a NATO army with NATO and US weapons, and have in fact destroyed the equivalent of three NATO armies already and are gearing up to destroy a fourth. The head of NATO has said that "the scope and scale of combat in Ukraine is beyond the imagination of NATO" and thus NATO itself is NOT ready to fight a war that they haven't even imagined. NATO itself has hollowed itself out of weapons that they've sent to Ukraine to be burned by the Russians, who have adapted to the new battlefield weapons and tactics and the best US/NATO weapons we've been able to send. Drone warfare and electronic warfare has revolutionized combat, making the large massive formations and forward basing of supplies and reinforcements impossible, restricting operations to small piecemeal advances across a broad front, as drones and modern intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities from "real time" satellite and battlefield drone intelligence makes any large formations instant targets for immediate destruction by smart weapons. The electronic warfare aspects of smart weapon guidance and counter-electronic warfare jamming has reached a new state of the art, making our best "smart weapons" dumb due to electronic jamming of their smart guidance systems, and drone-on-drone warfare is rapidly advancing the state of the art. Meanwhile the Russians learn to counteract our best weapons; every single "wonder weapon" we've sent to Ukraine had a very limited shelf-life of effectiveness, before the Russians learned to jam or counteract it and destroy it. Now our HIMARS and ATACMS and other wonder weapons are largely being intercepted by the superior Russian advanced air defense systems that they've developed over the decades as a counter to the overwhelming advantage of NATO/US airpower, while the Russians have perfected their hypersonic precision guidance missile systems and are hitting Ukraine with virtual impunity. The Russians have shown remarkable restraint-- they consider this a "special military operation" not a war, allowed under UN international laws due to the US performing a coup in Ukraine in 2014 with the intent of bringing Ukraine into NATO to be a forward base right on Russia's doorstep, and ultimately intending to base missiles in Ukraine capable of hitting Moscow and their nuclear deterrent and nuclear-missile launch detection systems within six minutes of missile launches from Ukraine, which of course the Russians could no more allow than we would allow the Soviet Union to place IRBM's into Cuba in 1962 within six minutes flight time of Washington DC and which put the entire country under threat of nuclear attack... and which we were willing to risk a nuclear war to force those missiles out. Now we expect Russia to simply roll over and play dead and accept us putting the equivalent of a gun to their head...

So while NATO and Europe and the US leadership gloats of over the 'ineptitude" and failure of the Russians to perform a huge "shock and awe" campaign in Ukraine (which would expose huge numbers of Russian troops to deadly attacks by drones and other weapons, outside the range of their jamming and electronic warfare protection umbrella) and while the Russians consistently carry out a war of attrition to destroy and disarm Ukraine, just as they have said all along, rather than some huge territorial conquest designed to impress the West, Europe is now shrieking in panic that the Russians are an unstoppable juggernaut that will march victoriously all the way to the English Channel if they're not stopped in Ukraine. Which is patently ridiculous on the face of it. It's not 1940 anymore; the Russians can't send their tanks pouring through Western Europe to the English Channel like Hitler's Panzer's blitzkrieg of 1940 through the Low Countries and Northern France, because unlike 1940, NATO and the European countries like France now have nuclear weapons. The Russians know this, and EVEN IF it was their intent to roll across Europe and conquer it, they KNOW that the end result would be a nuclear war, and the defeat of either their entire army using tactical nuclear weapons on the battlefield, or all out nuclear war which would destroy Russia and Europe alike. Besides, Europe is economically imploding and overrun with North African and Islamic immigrants which have poured into Europe over the last decade-- there's NOTHING to be gained from a conquest of Europe. The economic sanctions that Europe and the US have imposed on Russia, designed to collapse the Russian economy, have instead hardened the Russians and made them independent of their reliance upon Western money and commerce, while it has deprived the economic engines of Europe, particularly in Germany, of access to cheap Russian natural gas and other resources which allowed Germany to be the economic powerhouse of Europe, producing massive amounts of goods at competitive prices on the world market. Now with German industry and their economy reliant upon imported gas and LNG from the United States at 4-5 times the price, their goods are too expensive to be competitive in the global marketplace, and even in their own economies, which are floundering. German industry is fleeing for cheaper energy, resources, and labor in the United States and China, while their national economies are declining rapidly. Britain is in no better shape, one step ahead of a Depression and nowhere to go but down. The US is borrowing a trillion dollars every 100 days and our national debt has soared to new records, and next year the interest alone will be over a trillion dollars, more than the already 10X larger than the rest of the world combined US defense spending, our single largest expenditure in the US budget. Now with our support of a genocidal bombing campaign in Israel against mostly defenseless Palestinian civilians, crippling world trade as the Houthis in Yemen have closed the Red Sea and thus the Suez Canal to commercial traffic, and even our vaunted aircraft carriers have been successfully attacked by Houthi missiles and forced out of the Red Sea, even now we're gearing up for war on China, a far more capable adversary. We've already all but declared a trade and sanctions war on China, which will inevitably backfire in our faces as badly as the sanctions war on Russia backfired on Europe and crippled it economically. In short, we're FAR more dependent on China than they are on us. China sees the writing on the wall and has been divesting itself of US T-bills, greatly reduced their purchase of US debt in the form of T-bills, which they had been buying as a sink for the massive amount of US dollars they have been accruing due to the massive trade imbalance with the US, as we exported most of our major industry and manufacturing to China over the last 30 years, to exploit their almost limitless ocean of cheap labor from their billion plus peasants and lack of environmental laws, which allowed US corporations relocating to China to save billions in regulatory costs and higher wages, which allowed them to collect windfall profits, but which has not left the US largely bereft of its once dominating position of manufacturing giant and left us largely in a vulnerable financialized economy totally dependent upon debt to keep it financed and operational, and which has us now incapable of even producing sufficient weaponry to supply the proxy war we're waging on Russia in Ukraine, as well as supporting Israel in their blind genocidal reprisals for the October 7 attacks due to their oppressive and inhumane policies inflicted on the Palestinians for the last 70 years. China has instead of loaning us the money to build weapons to destroy them with, has instead been buying massive quantities of gold and other resources around the world, all of which the BRICS nations are rallying around to 'de-dollarize' and replace the US dollar as the world reserve currency in international trade with their own commodities based, gold backed trading system, which will make them immune from the threat of US sanctions and economic warfare upon them and seizure of their assets held in US dollars and US institutions. When they succeed, the US will be cut off from forcing other nations to finance our reckless and unsustainable spending and now printing sprees, which fund our military-industrial complex and warmongering foreign policy around the world, because we'll no longer have a stranglehold over world commerce via the dollar as world reserve currency. We will find ourselves rapidly in the same place as Britain did at the end of the British Empire when the pound sterling was no longer world reserve currency and the sustainment of their world-spanning British Empire was no longer sustainable.

So in the face of all this, we're now approving of Ukraine to hit INSIDE RUSSIA ITSELF with US/NATO weapons which can ONLY be aimed and fired by US "advisors" and their European counterparts operating within Ukraine, relying upon targeting data from US satellites and reconnaissance platforms, targeting planners and assets, being given to the Ukrainians to allow them to finally push the button to fire it. The Russians KNOW that these weapons cannot hit within Russia proper WITHOUT the assistance of US/NATO/European nation's respective military advisors working in and with the Ukrainians, including AWACS and drones and satellites. The Russians have stated CLEARLY AND UNEQUIVOCABLY that any such attacks WILL be considered NATO/US/ EUROPEAN attacks on Russia itself, and they will respond in their own best interests and in the manner and methods of their own choosing, both within and OUTSIDE Ukraine... IOW, if NATO planning centers, US or Sweden AWACS planes or drones, or US satellites and bases are allowing these attacks to be conducted by providing the essential targeting information and capabilities to the Ukrainians, they WILL BE DESTROYED by Russian missiles, as they have made themselves a party to the conflict and thus made themselves legitimate targets for Russian counterstrikes. Where it goes from there, is anybody's guess. BUT if Russia starts blowing up US satellites in space or destroying US or Sweden AWACS planes over the Black Sea or destroying US drones over the Black Sea or hitting NATO bases in Poland or France or whomever else has had a hand in attacking into Russia proper, it doesn't take a genius to figure out where it's going to go in very short order...

While neither Russia nor China WANTS a nuclear war, they have been preparing for one all along, and they realize that all this US and European rhetoric and US saber rattling is pointing definitely toward the US intent on going to war with them, which they know (and our idiots in charge SHOULD know if they weren't so d@mn self-deluded and thirsty for world conquest and domination) where it will inexorably lead. Both Russia and China have extensive civil defense plans and have the capability of sheltering most if not all of their populations from the effects of a nuclear war. China even has massive factory complexes underground prepared to continue production of essential war materiel after a nuclear attack, and Russia likely does as well. The US pretty much gave up on Civil Defense and allowed our civil defense system to wane during the 1960's to virtual nonexistence by the 1970's. After the end of the Cold War, even what remained, the "fallout shelter" signs which indicated where and how many people could shelter from the deadly effects of fallout radiation after an attack, were taken down. Of course the essential supplies like canned food and water and medical supplies needed to wait for the fallout radiation to die down for two weeks in the shelters hadn't been stocked for decades by that point anyway. The US has focused solely on "continuity of government" (COG) planning since then, providing shelters and supplies for the "essential services and personnel" of government and enough troops to enforce their wishes after a nuclear attack-- in other words, after a nuclear war and the radiation dies down, enough troops and weapons to ensure that they can enslave whomever manages to survive on the surface after they come up from their underground shelters, and continue to impose their satanic will on the world. Just what we all need!

I read a study recently done using supercomputers to model the fallout patterns of a typical counterforce war, that is to say, a nuclear attack aimed only at destroying our ICBM silos across the upper Midwest, and other essential nuclear military targets and bases within the US, but NOT targeting our cities, major population centers, industry, ports, resource and manufacturing production, power, or other infrastructure. Such studies have been done since the 50's, but never using the predominating weather patterns for every single day of the year to model fallout patterns. As previous studies have shown that, even in a worst-case scenario of an all-out nuclear war taking place at the worst possible time, during working hours with huge numbers of suburban commuters at their jobs in city centers, with basically everything targeted and little/no warning, only about 10% of the US population would be killed instantly in the actual nuclear attack... even in targeted cities, MOST people will be too far from detonation points to be instantly vaporized-- most of those who will die would die from being crushed under collapsing buildings or by flying debris from blast effects, or burned to death by being trapped in burning buildings or from direct burns received from being unprotected at the moment of detonation from the bomb's heat pulse. 90% of the population would survive the initial attacks, but most would die within hours or days from the effects of nuclear radiation primarily from fallout. This latest study showed that within 1 year after the attack, upwards of 90% of the US population would be dead from radiation related injuries and diseases, lack of food and water, shelter, and basic health care facilities, and from radiation induced diseases exacerbated by privations of basic necessities. The Russians and Chinese have taken steps to minimize or ameliorate these effects, and allow their surviving societies to continue and even produce what is needed to defend themselves from outside attackers. The US has ensured our "government will survive". Just what we all needed. The same maniacs who would have killed us all coming out of their holes to rule over whomever managed to survive...

And all of this over a war WE provoked and supplied for our own selfish reasons-- to break up Russia into a gaggle of squabbling fiefdoms that we could overpower economically and politically and exploit their resources and manpower. Of course the stupidity of that goal is beyond imagination-- a nation (Russia) with 6,000 nuclear weapons and cutting edge delivery systems that even the US doesn't have (like hypersonic missiles) being broken up into a dozen or more independent countries-- even with the CIA carefully orchestrating coups and takeovers by "friendly dictators" the odds of one or more of them being taken over by an ultra-nationalist general, vengeful against the United States and Europe for what has befallen his beloved Mother Russia, and odds are that he would have the capability to launch nuclear weapons at the USA and Europe are huge... instability and chaos involving a nuclear power is insane, as is directly attacking one with the intent of breaking up their nation, which the Russian nuclear policy states that they would use nuclear weapons if the survival and sovereignty of the Russian state and/or its imminent defeat and destruction were at stake. IOW, we're creating the very situation where they would nuke us, and all because these neocon warmongers in DC and their globalist oligarch billionaires that fund them and their unelected deep state gubmint thugs want to rule the world and won't take no for an answer, and are determined that they'll either rule the world or rule over the ashes of it...

It's insane, but it's where we are. Thing is, even if we live until the election, the outcome will make little/no difference. Trump has said in a recent campaign fundraiser he'd "bomb Moscow or Beijing" if he'd been in charge when Russia moved into Ukraine in their SMO or if China invaded Taiwan. Guess what?? The US bombing Moscow or Beijing would result in them bombing Washington DC, and guess where that goes?? Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out! Next step is everything being incinerated... Trump is just as much bought and paid for by the Israel lobby as Biden and his cronies are, and the rest of the gubmint is. The Israelis have responded stupidly and out of all proportion after the October 7th attacks, attacks in which at least a quarter to a third of the 1700 or so killed were actually killed the Israelis themselves in their overreaction and "Hannibal doctrine" which says they'd rather kill their own troops or citizens than allow them to be held as hostages to be used against them. Now they've killed well over 30,000 Palestinians, mostly unarmed and unable to flee because they're in what the Israeli's themselves describe as "the world's largest open-air concentration camp". Meanwhile the US continues to provide every weapon they ask for in their ongoing genocidal destruction. The only thing holding back the rest of the Middle East and other parts of the world from taking up arms against them is the fact that they're backed by the US and going to war with Israel would mean going to war with the US, and the fact that the Israelis have about 300 nuclear warheads. Israel has turned itself into a worldwide pariah nation, and its economy and long-term survivability are being undermined through their rampaging actions which are self-destructive. Their economy would already be imploding if the US wasn't sustaining them with limitless loans and funding, they would already be out of weapons if the US wasn't supplying their war machine daily with weapons paid for by our tax dollars, used to kill defenseless women and children and old people in Gaza in the futile pursuit of Hamas forces which are well protected underground in a sprawling tunnel complex and which the Israelis have done only minimal damage to. This situation alone is leading us towards WW3, because Israel feels it can strike with impunity at even the "untouchable" things like embassies, which provoked the Iranian response that PROVED they have the ability to hit Israel, and which the US and Israel spent 300 billion dollars defending against when the Iranians gave DAYS of warning of what was coming, while the Iranians and their allies attacked with large numbers of cheap drones and old cruise missiles, and then managed to overwhelm and penetrate their vaunted Iron Dome and Patriot PAC-3 and David's Sling defense systems to hit their airbase and some other targets in a very limited and carefully coordinated demonstration attack... and which proved that Israel and the US couldn't even totally fend that off... what happens when they attack without warning with everything they've got, not a handful of second-string and outdated weapons, for the most part?? The US can't even defeat the Houthis in Yemen who have even less advanced stuff than Iran has, word is now that the Houthis have attacked and forced a US aircraft carrier to retreat from the Red Sea, as it was hit by missiles and drones. Yet we in the US think we can send our aircraft carrier battle groups into the Baltic or Arctic Oceans to threaten Russia or into the South China Sea or blockade China and fight China on Taiwan and that somehow, despite both China and Russia having cutting edge hypersonic missiles that the US does NOT have, that they won't sink most of our navy and carriers in a matter of minutes?? Insane! It's been said that there are two ships now-- submarines and targets. The US carrier fleet is a throwback to the glory days of WW2 and the Cold War, and it's carried over because we've only used them to face down or engage opponents with no air force, no navy, and no modern missile forces, like Iraq and Afghanistan and such. Modern precision-guided missiles and hypersonic missiles have made aircraft carriers obsolete, as they are now ripe targets to be sunk rapidly, just as Billy Mitchell proved that the era of battleships was over when he used airpower to bomb one and sink it in the interwar years. Of course the "naval experts' then didn't want to hear that either, and still believed in the invincibility of battleships right up into the beginning of WW2, when a few things disabused them of that conclusion-- the brilliant British attack on the anchored Italian fleet at Taranto, where the British used a handful of mostly obsolete "stringbag" biplanes (Fairey Swordfish) torpedo planes to sink the pride of the Italian Navy in their own port of Taranto... and the Japanese drove the point home in the attack at Pearl Harbor and the sinking of the British ships the "Prince of Wales" and "Repulse" which had been sortied to help defend Singapore from the Japanese invasion. I think that it will take the US sending their carriers into some widespread action 10,000 miles from the US off the shores of China in a war with China, in which most of them will be sunk in minutes by hypersonic precision missiles from China itself to finally drive home the point that carriers are as obsolete as battleships were in 1941. That is if we don't trigger a nuclear war that will kill us all first over a flyspeck mess we created in Ukraine...
