I got tired of cleaning my air brush and dealing with all of the idiosyncrasies thereof and decided to just use a regular brush with the Brodak dope I have on hand.

Had to thin the dope down a bit, but it still was nice not to have to deal with cleaning an airbrush.

Given the price of auto paint nowadays, there's actually a site devoted to "rustoleum paint jobs" on cars.... so my brother the restoration king tells me... LOL:) Sounds good to me!

Am I thread jacking my own thread if I bring it back onto the subject of rockets :?

Never did get a picture of that Phoenix Bird I started painting... never finished the rocket either.

on the other hand, in the new NAR section I started at my church, we brush painted our rockets with some old acrylic craft paint we found in the youth room which hadn't been used in years.

I don't have a picture of my Estes Wizzard on hand as I didn't launch it that day.

It was fun not slaving over the process for once.
